GL8.4 is a high capacity and versatile self-propelled harvester. That model is equipped with a Deutz 4 Cyl engine 156 HP that complies with all new emissions standards (Tier 4 final). This engine delivers impressive power and optimized fuel efficiency even in the hardest conditions (Harvest, Spraying). The hydrostatic transmission is composed of POCLAIN 2-speed wheel drive motors (For work & road mode). This next generation wheel drive motor offers a new power standard (+28%) for increased traction and crossing capacity. When road mode is selected all 4 wheels are powered for driver confidence and optimal road holding ability. GL8.4 is equipped with an automatic engine rpm management. Depending on demand (running tools, vehicle speed, machine load) engine rpm will adapt automatically to always supply the necessary power. This smart management program guarantees a precise and controlled fuel consumption, reduced noise levels and optimized machine reactivity
GL8.4 is equipped with the largest cab on the market. GREGOIRE has designed it’s cab with special care, focusing on a large working space, wide screen surface, upgraded soundproofing, reinforced safety and driver ergonomics. To ease access to the cab a single press on the outside opening switch will slide out the inclined ladder, turn the cab door sill light on and start the i-Monitor screen.
To use the machine to its full potential GL8.4 integrate the latest easy-to-use technology : a i-Monitor touch screen (12”), Data storage, Headland sequencing, a fully customizable joystick with all machine functions and an exclusive transmission management.

The latest GREGOIRE picking head ARC2 allow a quick and perfect pick with the best care for your vines. AUTOpinch combined with a double pendulum picking system ensure you a perfect flexibility and adaptability whatever the vineyard conditions.
The pneumatic catcher tray guarantee a perfect water tightness and the adjustable rail pressure to minimize impacts on young plants.
Harvest cleaning is operate by 2 bottom fans and 2 top fans or the new EASYclean sorting system.
To reduce dumping time and increase productivity GL8.4 are fitted with two lateral stainless steel bins of 2000L or 1500L
Access & Maintenance
Because regular maintenance means an uninterrupted harvest; from the very beginning GL8.4 has been designed to make every cleaning and maintenance operation easy.
To make those operations easier GL8.4 has a large available space inside the picking tunnel, a simple working cinematic and an oversized upper platform. To save time and water GL8.4 also integrate a washing line that directly provide water to the top platform and a separate control box that gives you access to harvest function without having to enter the cab.
Top deck that runs from the back to the front of the machine gives total freedom of movement to proceed maintenance, settings and access to centralized grease-points

GL8.4 tractor base can be equipped with front canopy management tools and multi-row sprayers. Automatic tool recognition using ISObus technology. Tools and sprayers are directly controlled by the harvester touchscreen and joystick. Coupling and uncoupling of multifunction tools is simple and quick using the centralized electric and hydraulic connections.

AUTOdrive automatically adapts the engine speed to the ground speed when driving. This integrated management of the engine speed gives the transmission unrivalled flexibility and significantly reduces both consumption and the noise level. The joystick can also be used as a forward drive control.
AUTOspeed is used to perfectly regulate the working speed, regardless of the terrain. It is simple to activate via an easily accessible button on the joystick, allowing you to return quickly to the programmed speed.
With TOOLintegration, GREGOIRE versatile carriers are pre-equipped as standard to be versatile, allowing a GREGOIRE spraying unit or tool to be easily installed. ISOBUS technology allows this equipment to be controlled directly using the existing controls in the cab.
The ARC system harvesting principle ensures high quality harvesting and as yet unrivalled handling of the vine. Its exclusive characteristics give you access to an unlimited range of settings, which translates into quick and easy adaptation to any type of vineyard.
TEP, the train of pneumatic sealing scales (GREGOIRE patented), perfectly adapts the recall force of the sealing scales to the different types of vine. By adjusting the air pressure in a membrane located underneath the scales, vines can be handled as delicately as possible whilst limiting losses on the ground.
On board sorting system allowing perfect harvest quality. The « sorting head's » oscillating motion separates the grapes from vegetal materials. The grapes are stocked in the bins and the vegetal materials are expelled via the sorting table.Ample access available for maintenance.
